TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

According to a police report, alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the early morning crash on Sunday that sent the driver of a truck to the hospital after he crashed into the Tyler Area Builders Association office on West Grande Blvd.

Police said 24-year-old Taylor Brian Swinford, of Tyler, was transported to Trinity Mother Frances following the accident. He has since been discharged from the hospital.

Blood was drawn following the crash and was sent for review to determine how much alcohol was in the Swinford's system at the time of the accident.

Authorities said Swinford was driving west on W. Grande Blvd. at an unsafe speed before losing control and rolling over into the office building.

Police said the incident remains under investigation at this time.
