OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police have released the name of a man who was shot and killed early Friday morning in OTR.

Around 2:30 a.m., Cincinnati dispatch received a call about a man bleeding from the head near the intersection of Goose Alley and West Elder near Findlay Market.

Police say the victim, William Barnes, 29, was dead when they arrived.

The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate this offense.

Anyone who has information pertaining to this offense is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Section at 352-3542 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 352-3040 or text "CINTIP" plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
