Moore: Picking up the pieces

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

Oklahoma tornado victims have only just begun the process of picking up the pieces. We'll have the official tornado damage tally for you this morning.

Plus, 30 East Texas war heroes are preparing to embark on a sentimental journey. We're live at FRESH this morning as those heroes are getting ready for departure.

Brett Collar says today we will see a few clouds to start, but more sunshine is on tap this afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Overnight tonight, mostly clear skies becoming mostly cloudy before sunrise Friday morning. Lows dropping into the upper 60s and lower 70s. The chance for a few afternoon/early evening showers is in the forecast for your Friday, but we are not expecting a widespread or heavy rainfall. Highs Friday will top out mainly in the upper 80s with some locations getting into the lower 90s. Your holiday weekend looks very nice with highs topping out in the upper 80s to lower 90s. There is the very slim chance for a few afternoon/evening showers Saturday, but those chances are slim to none.
