TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A woman on parole in the murder-for-hire plot of her ex-husband has been rearrested.

Wichita Falls police say Kimberly Lynn Coble was arrested without incident Wednesday on a parole warrant.

In 1996, Coble entered a guilty plea for hiring Tony Wayne Casey to kill her ex-husband. Coble's ex-husband was found shot dead in 1991 along a Smith County road. According to Smith County records, the couple had divorced in 1990.

As a part of the agreement, Casey was going to receive part of the victim's insurance and estate.

Casey is still in prison for the death of Coble's ex-husband. State prison records show he could be released in 2022.
