Whitehouse native named to quarterback watch list

Release from SFA Athletics

Whitehouse native Brady Attaway has been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS Quarterback Award watch list announced publication officials. Attaway is one of only 32 quarterbacks named to the list.

Attaway completed nearly 60 percent of his passes last season, while leading the Southland in completions (334) and passing yards per game (334 ypg). Among the nation's top 10 in total offense, Attaway spearheaded the nation's top passing offense during the regular season. Attaway finished the season ranked fifth nationally in touchdown passes (29).

A two-time honorable mention all-conference selection, Attaway enters his final season in a purple and white uniform as one of the school all-time best quarterbacks. He currently ranks among the school's all-time top four in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total offense. He also ranks among the conference leaders in those same categories.
