SANDUSKY, OH (FOX19) -

A new roller coaster made its much anticipated public debut Saturday at Cedar Point with GateKeeper.

The ride sets seven world records, including the longest track length (4,164 feet), tallest drop (164 feet) and most inversions (six) of any wing roller coaster in the world.

Other features include a 170-foot high lift followed by a sharp, 90-degree turn and 164-foot drop, six inversions, a series of hills, and soaring through two massive keyhole towers that guard the park's new main entrance at speeds approaching 70 miles per hour.

Cedar Point's newest thrill ride adds to the park's already impressive collection of world-class roller coasters, which includes Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum XL-200, Raptor, Maverick, Wicked Twister, Mantis, Iron Dragon, Gemini, Blue Streak, Mean, Streak, Corkscrew, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Jr. Gemini and Woodstock Express.

Cedar Point is open daily through Labor Day, September 2. For more park information, visit Cedar Point's website.
