Organizations come together to save lives

Wells Fargo Advisors in Tyler is willing to match each blood donation given to Carter BloodCare by giving a monetary donation to the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army said they will use the donation for their "Fans for Life" campaign where they purchase fans to be distributed to those in need this summer.

"It's been the Wells Fargo corporate philosophy to try to give back to the community, get people involved, get the employees, and the clients at Wells Fargo Advisors and give them a median to give back to the communities," said First Vice President of Wells Fargo Advisors, Brandon Johnston.

Wells Fargo Advisors said they will match blood donations for a three day period starting Tuesday, May 14 to Thursday, May 16. The hours will be from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo parking lot located at 1601 South Broadway Avenue in Tyler.
