GRANT COUNTY, AR (KSLA) -

A Bossier Parish couple has been identified as the primary 'persons of interest' in the murder of an Arkansas man.

Investigators with the Grant County Sheriff's Department and the Arkansas State Police named Matthew and Terra Jones as persons of interest in the death of Danny Joe Stivers, 46. Terra Jones is Stivers' ex-wife.

Deputies say Stivers' body was found by firefighters inside his burning residence on Feb. 3 about 11 miles south of Sheridan on U.S. Hwy. 167.

They say evidence recovered at the scene, information obtained by investigators, and the findings of the state medical examiner have led them to believe that Stivers was the victim of foul play. They add that Stivers' murder was not random and that the motive does not appear to have been robbery.

Stivers' family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his death.

Anyone with information about this case should call Grant County authorities at (870) 942-2101.
