GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Glendale police are looking for two men after one of them wielding a shotgun wounded a 19-year-old man for refusing to give them his chain necklace Tuesday night.

The victim told police he was standing next to his car in an apartment complex parking lot near 63rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road talking on the phone with his girlfriend when two men pulled up in a light-color, four-door Saturn sedan about 10:15 p.m., Glendale Police Sgt. Brent Coombs said.

The victim said the men got out of the car with a pump shotgun and demanded his chain necklace, Coombs said. The victim told police he ran and the suspect shot him.

Coombs said the victim had visible pellet wounds, and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Coombs said the shooter was described as Hispanic, 5'9" tall, 160 pounds, in his 20s, wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, beige shorts and carrying a long shotgun.

There was no description provided of the other suspect.

No other information was immediately available.
