MOUNT PLEASANT, TX (KLTV) -

The family of a kidnapped Mount Pleasant girl who was found safe on Monday issued a statement on Tuesday via the Mount Pleasant Police Department:

"We would like to thank the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, investigators, sheriff's office and surrounding police officers that made it possible to find our daughter and the media for helping us find her. We would also like to thank all the families that prayed for her and for also having patience and not questioning us. We're also thankful to Titus County. Everyone worked as one team, one family and I prayed that God helps them. I'm deeply happy that everyone moved quickly. We would like this to be a guide for every parent that has children. God bless everyone. Good job and congratulations, Thank you. Santiago & Maria Zavala.
