    The body found in a box on Tuesday in Van Zandt County is that of 16-year-old Alicia Chanta Moore, according to officials.

GREENVILLE, TX (KLTV) -

After months of investigation there has been an arrest in the death of a 16-year-old Greenville girl.

Around 9 p.m. Monday, the uncle of Alicia Moore, Michael Vincent Moore, 57, was arrested at a home in the 400 block of Oakview in Grand Prairie by the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office and charged with capital murder.

Alicia Moore disappeared after getting off of the school bus near her home around 3:25 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2012. Her body was found four days later inside a trunk left along a rural road in Van Zandt County.

In an interview with WFAA on Feb. 23, Michael Moore said, "No one's been caught yet. We're still waiting for answers and that's really hard on us," Mr. Moore told News 8's Carla Wade then. "It hurts sometimes, but I'm over it now and it's time to rejoice. You know, you've got to get over it and move on."

The Greenville Police Department assisted the Texas Rangers and Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office in the arrest. Moore was taken into custody without incident.
