East Texas man indicted on 6 counts of burglary

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

On Thursday, a Chapel Hill man was indicted on six counts of burglary of a building.

On March 6, Richard Moore, 20, was arrested after allegedly breaking into an Army-Navy store in Tyler.Tyler police were driving by the store when they heard the alarm going off. The officers stopped to check the building and discovered a large hole cut into the back of the store.

Moore confessed to the break-in and was held in the Smith County Jail. In addition to the March 6 incident, Moore was indicted on five other burglaries that occurred in February.
