D'backs' biggest fan has wish come true

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

The Arizona Diamondbacks just moved into first place and the team was inspired by its biggest fan.

Five-year-old Kyle Byrd joined the lineup.

Kyle's Make-A-Wish dream was to be a Diamondback for a day. He got to meet the players and manager Kirk Gibson. He also got to throw out the first pitch.

Kyle and his twin sister, Lauren Byrd, have Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), the No. 1 generic killer of young children.

The D'backs took three of four from the Rockies and Kyle sparked the D'backs to first place.
