LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police arrested Christina Tabitha Luna, 19, of Lufkin after she did not stop when police tried to pull her over.

LPD says a witness called in reckless driver near the area of Lotus Lane Saturday night. The witness continued to follow Luna's black Honda until police were able to track her down.

According to a police report, an officer got behind Luna around the North Timberland area with lights flashing but she did not stop. The report says Luna pulled into a residence on Forest Park and then police were able to make contact.

Luna was arrested for evading arrested with a vehicle and driving while intoxicated.

The arrest record states that Luna's blood alcohol content was greater than or equal to .15 which is almost twice the legal limit of .08.

Luna remains in the Angelina County Jail on a $5,000 bond for both charges.
