East Texans sign with NFL teams

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Several East Texas football players have signed with NFL teams, despite not being selected in this years NFL Draft.

They all sign as un-drafted free agents.

Ja'Gared Davis (Crockett) - Houston Texans
Jacobly Ashworth (Lufkin) - Washington Redskins
Jamarkus McFarland (Lufkin) - San Diego Chargers
Cordell Roberson (Jefferson & SFA) - Cleveland Browns
Josh Aubrey (Tyler Lee & SFA) - Cleveland Browns
Matthew Tucker (Chapel Hill) - Philadelphia Eagles
Willie Jefferson (SFA) - Houston Texans
Keavon Milton (Canton) - New Orleans Saints

    Like Dez Bryant, Whitehouse product Patrick Mahomes was a first round pick. And like Bryant, the East Texan loves to give back to the community. Earlier this week, the Chiefs rookie quarterback returned to Lubbock where he played college ball at Texas Tech to sign autographs.
