Lions take S Carolina defensive end in 4th round

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Lions selected Devin Taylor on Saturday in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

The Lions took the South Carolina defensive end with the 132nd overall pick, their first of the final day of the draft. He had three sacks during his senior season with the Gamecocks.

Taylor, 6-7, 266 is the second end Detroit has taken in this draft. The Lions, who must replace departed edge rushers Kyle Vanden Bosch and Cliff Avril, selected Brigham Young end Ezekiel Ansah with the fifth overall pick Thursday night.
