Bengals draft pick to wear Ocho Cinco's old number 85

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Bengals picked a popular jersey number for the #1 draft pick.

Tyler Eifert, a former Notre Dame tight end, joined the Bengals as 21st overall draft pick on the first night of the draft.

At a press conference on Friday, the Bengals showed his jersey, number 85. This was the number worn by Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson during his run as a Bengal.

At the news conference, coach Marvin Lewis acknowledge the jersey number's history and said he hoped that Eifert can take number 85 and make it even better.

Friday night, Eifert will be at the Bengals Pro Shop signing autographs from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
