Judge rules Elmwood Place appeal as 'premature' on Thursday - KLTV.com-Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Texas | ETX News

Village's speed camera appeal ruled premature

ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) -

The fight over speed cameras in the Village of Elmwood Place continues.

An appeal filed by Elmwood Place and the company that operates the speed cameras was thrown out as being 'premature' on Thursday.

The decision was made because Hamilton County Judge Robert Ruehlman who previously ruled against the cameras hadn't yet signed a final appealable order.

Judge Ruehlman issued a permanent injunction on the controversial cameras in March.

The final order is expected in Early June, at which time Elmwood Place and the company can appeal again.
