Cactus Speedway welcomes Outlaw Invitational

BULLARD, TX (KLTV) -

Cactus Speedway, just south of Bullard, will be hosting the Outlaw Kart Invitational on April 19th and 20th.

It is the biggest field the racetrack has ever had.

The Classes:

Open Outlaw - Invitation Only - $5000 to win
Outlaw 250f/125 - $1000 to win
Stock Animal - $500 to win

The Format:

Open Outlaws:
Pill Draw for Qualifying order
Everything based on points from qualifying and heat finishes
Qualifying for heat starting spots and ANY future "tie breakers"
Invert 2nd heat from 1st heat start positions

Other Classes:

Pill Draw for Qualifying order
Everything based on points from qualifying and heat finishes
Qualifying for heat starting spots and ANY future "tie breakers"
Invert 2nd heat from 1st heat start positions

Number of Karts to Feature:
OPEN- 22 (20 through qualifying races, 2 promoters options)
125/250f- 20
Animal- 20

The Schedule:


Friday - April 19th, 2013:

Gates open at 12:00pm
Hot Laps at 5:00pm
Qualifying starts at 6:00pm
Dashes follow Qualifying
Karaoke Pit Party will follow races Friday night

Saturday - April 20th, 2013:
Gates open at 11:00am
Hot Laps at 4:00pm
Heat Races start at 5:00pm
"B" Mains, Last Chance Race and Features to follow

General Admission: $15.00 adults, $10.00 kids, children 12 and under free.
Pit passes:  2-day: $50.00, 1-day: $30.00
