In his final high school game Silento Sayles stole his 100th base of the season. He becomes the first player in Mississippi history to reach that milestone.
The moment came in the 2nd inning after Sayles doubled with two outs. On the next pitch he slid into 3rd ahead of the throw. In the game, Sayles had 7 steals.
Sayles has signed to play at Chipola Junior College next year, but is widely considered an MLB draft prospect and could go within the first 10 rounds.
