2 in custody after La Vergne pizza delivery driver shot

LA VERGNE, TN (WSMV) -

Two people were arrested Thursday in connection with the recent shooting of a pizza delivery driver in Rutherford County.

On April 16, a pizza delivery driver was called to make a delivery at an address on David's Way in La Vergne.

While on his way to the home, the deliveryman was robbed and shot by strangers.

Police said they are still looking for another person in the case. Investigators said they won't release the names of the two suspects until the third person is in custody.
