Globetrotters bring smiles to Children's Hospital

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Harlem Globetrotters visited Children's Hospital on Tuesday bringing smiles to children.

As part of a series of goodwill appearances this week, Slick Willie Shaw of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters brought the Smile Patrol to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Smile Patrol is designed to brighten the day and lift the spirits of some very special fans unable to attend a Globetrotter game.

Slick spent time with patients, shareed laughs, posed for pictures, signed autographs and shared his amazing ball handling skills.

The appearance was part of  'Globetrotter Week', which includes a series of appearances throughout the area.

The Harlem Globetrotters finish their week in the Tri-State with a game at the Bank of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights on April 19 at 7 p.m.
