Highway troopers say a truck driver probably saved lives by running his rig off the road today. They are calling wet weather a factor in this accident. It happened in Gregg county on highway 149 near Lakeport.
Two cars clipped each other head-on, forcing a log-truck that was following them to veer off the road. The logs spilled out into the road way, blocking traffic for about 30 minutes. Miraculously, no one was injured in any of the vehicles.
