Woman Jailed On Drug Charges And Assaulting Longview Police Officer

A former Longview nurse is jailed after being arrested on drug charges, and trying to take a police officer's gun. "Joieya Lee Warren" was arrested by police near a Longview hotel on charges of possessing meth-amphetamine. She was taken to an area hospital to be checked out before her arrest.

When authorities tried to take her into custody, she struck a doctor and tried to grab an officer's firearm. Police say Warren even tried to hang herself with a seatbelt in the squad-car. She's now being held in the Gregg county jail on over 30-thousand dollars bond for possession of a controlled substance and assault.
