LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Longview police are searching for a suspect believed to be involved in several aggravated robberies over the past few months.
The first robbery occurred on January 27 in the 2900 Block of Gilmer Road. The employees were closing for the night when an unknown male suspect walked up and displayed a handgun, demanding money. When one of the victims dropped the money bag, the suspect grabbed the bag and fled.
Again on April 5, the same location was robbed a second time. The employees were outside the building when they were approached by an unknown male who demanded their cell phones and money. The victims gave the suspect what he demanded and the suspect fled the scene.
On April 7, in the 2000 Block of Gilmer Road, an employee of the location was closing up for the night. As she exited the building she was approached by an unknown suspect who produced a handgun. The victim believed the suspect wanted the money bag she had. The victim was able to get into her vehicle and lock the doors. The suspect then fled the scene.
The last robbery police believe may be related to these robberies occurred on April 11 in the 1400 Block of West Loop 281. An employee was closing the store for the night. As the employee exited the store he was approached by an unknown male who pointed a handgun at him. He demanded money from the victim. The victim gave the suspect money and the suspect fled on foot.
