East Texas' Largest Consignment Sale is going on now!
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
East Texas' largest consignment event is going on right now, and there are still some great items on sale that you can purchase.
Even though it's called the Children's Clothing Consignment Sale, it offers even more than that, including maternity clothes, toys, shoes, baby furniture, software, videos, and more.
"It's just row to row of clothes and shoes and just lots of good deals to rummage through, it's so much fun," says experienced CCC sale shopper, Shirley Rogers.
"You just go crazy, you just can't wait to get in here. That's why you have such a long line out there each time because people can't wait to get in here and get the deals that they can buy," says Rogers.
Participants have the option of selling or buying, or both. Over a thousand sellers, picked out items to sell, priced them, then printed out barcodes, and put them on the racks.
"This is a really great way that they can clean out their closets, cash in with what's already there and replace it with new, that works and fits," says CCC Sale representative Kimberly Waddell.
Rogers says it's perfect for shopping for her granddaughter.
"I can buy her an outfit for everyday of the week for two weeks here for about a hundred dollars, it's just wonderful," explains Rogers.
The sale opens up Friday at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m., and then again Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler.
Everything that is left on Saturday will be donated to numerous charities and organizations.
