Planned fun day ends in tragedy as bus overturns on TX highway

Good afternoon, everyone! We hope your day is going well and that you're staying warm.

Here's some of what we're working on for you in the newsroom today:

First, at least two people were killed today when a bus overturned on the President George Bush turnpike in Irving. Others were injured and transported to area hospitals. More details at 4.

At 5, Dr. Ed Dominguez will join us to discuss a new study that found that children living in states with strict nutritional standards at schools were less likely to be obese.

And at 6 our Lauren Callahan joins us from Kaufman County, where Gov. Perry's appointed DA to replace the slain DA Mike McClelland says she's  ready to get to work. Wiley thanked Governor Perry today for his deep concern for the people of Kaufman County. Join Lauren for more at 6.
