Eighteen East Texas men continue their relief efforts in Florida. The East Texas Disaster Relief Team is an arm of the Texas Baptist Men. The crew sent us photos of their efforts to help victims of Hurricane Charley. Yesterday alone, they handed out 300 cases of water. As the week progresses they'll start handing out meals. They hope to provide about 10-thousand meals by the end of the week. They're in the Lake Wales area in Central Florida. Lots of trees down there according to these East Texas volunteers and chain link fences and orange groves have been hit hard. The East Texas Disaster Relief Team will be in Florida as long as they're needed. They say that will be a two week stay, minimum.
