Its a lengthy prison term for a Kilgore teenager convicted of shooting a man four times last spring. 18 year old Wesley Williams shot a man 4 times last March. Yesterday he was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
His victim 53 year old John Mumphrey was working at a Kilgore repair shop. He survived the gunshots, and identified Williams as his attacker. Prosecutors say Williams shot Mumphrey, after the auto mechanic reported to police he was dealing drugs.
Williams must serve at least half his sentence before being eligible for parole.
