2 arrested for burglary of Wells city hall building

CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Cherokee County Sheriff's investigators arrested two men in connection with a burglary at the city hall building in Wells on Friday.

On November 26, 2012 deputies were called to the Wells City Hall where subjects had broken out the glass front entrance door and entered the building. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash, checks and money orders, and damaged some of the contents of the building, according to investigators.

William Todd Pounds, 47, and Joshua Kerry Rains, 27, both of Wells were arrested at their residence. Both were charged with burglary of a building.
