ETX man arrested for string of burglaries

On Sunday, Kilgore police responded to Tiffany's in the 2400 block of Longview Street in Kilgore following a report of cars being burglarized.

An initial investigation revealed several vehicles had been broken into and various items stolen from them. Witness provided a description of the suspect and police soon located him hiding in the bathroom of Tiffany's. He was identified as Julio Cesar Ramirez, 20, of Longview.

A K9 unit was able to track Ramirez' movements and located some property which was identified as coming from the burglarized vehicles. Ramirez was charged with two counts of Burglary of a Vehicle and Disorderly Conduct/Language. Ramirez was booked into the Kilgore Municipal Jail.
