ETX attorney killed in ATV accident

A Sulphur Springs attorney died on Friday night after the ATV he was riding crashed near Lake Texoma in Grayson County.

Larry Friday Jr., 43, a prominent Sulphur Springs attorney, lost his life when his ATV went up a steep incline and overturned, pinning him underneath. Friday was pronounced dead at the scene by a Grayson County Justice of the Peace. A passenger, Jon Foerester, 40, of Irving,. was ejected from the ATV. He was taken to Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

An attorney for the Friday Law Firm, Friday held a bachelor of science from the University of Houston and a law degree from the South Texas College of Law.

A memorial service for Friday will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
