MT. ORAB, OH (FOX19) -

Mt. Orab firefighters said goodbye to a fellow firefighter leaving to serve his country in Afghanistan.

Bradley Jones, a 20-year-old currently serving in the United States Army, was bid farewell by fellow firefighters, family and friends on Sunday morning.

As Jones departed for Afghanistan at 4 a.m., his vehicle was intercepted at the end of his driveway by Mt. Orab firemen.

Loved ones gathered as he was taken through town by multiple fire trucks and police personnel.

Friends lined the streets holding posters showing their support and appreciation for Jones.

A 50-foot flag was draped between two fire trucks forming an archway over US 69.

Jones drove beneath the flag as he left Mt. Orab behind.
