2013 Pothole Blitz kicks off in Cincinnati

As spring brings warmer weather, more potholes can be found on streets throughout the City of Cincinnati and beyond.

As a result, Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld and the Public Services Department kicked off the 2013 Pothole Blitz on Friday, declaring April as 'Pothole Month'.

"Potholes impact everyone who lives in the city, and we all want to see our streets get better," said Sittenfeld. "I trust this year's blitz will once again be a strong success."

Officials are urging anyone who spots a pothole to use the 'Cincinnati City Hall Mobile' app to report the problem, which is available for free download. The app lets you access the City's government services wherever you go, enabling users to report complaints to the City.

In addition, residents can even track the progress of a complaint, including the repair of a pothole.
