City of Cincinnati launches City Hall Mobile app

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The City of Cincinnati has launched a new mobile app to report city problems by the touch of your finger.

City problems seem to pop up everywhere, between potholes, graffiti and more.

Now, just like everything else, there's an app for that.

Meg Olberding, the City of Cincinnati's Director of Communications, says the 'Cincinnati City Hall Mobile' app was launched last month.

"We're really a mobile city hall, so you can go to the app, download it from your app store and start helping us keep our city cleaner, safer, and more user friendly," said Olberding.

The app lets you access the City's government services wherever you go.

Users can set reminders for recycling pickup in your neighborhood and report complaints to the City. For example, if you see graffiti on a building, you can choose 'Request Services' and use the GPS to find your location, and then fill out the information to report the problem.

You can also check the status of your complaint. Olberding says it's a quick process that enables the Cincinnati to keep the streets clean and help city workers be more efficient.

To download the free app, search 'Cincinnati City Hall' in your app store.
