Two Armed Robberies Within Minutes, Police Act Fast To Apprehend

Two Tyler businesses are held up this afternoon, and quick police work led police to two suspects and the cash they're accused of taking.

One of the men allegedly used a handgun to rob Tina's Hair Affaire at Troup and Loop 323, then The Cleaning Company at 4200 Old Bullard Road.  He was wearing a sweatshirt over his head and ski goggles.

Minutes after the crimes, a Tyler detective in an unmarked cruiser was already behind the suspects' vehicle. When the men stopped, officers closed in and made the arrests. We're told cash was taken, but it's been recovered. No one was injured.
