Birds and their droppings continue to be a problem at Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland.

The starlings have been making a few, ahem, unwanted deposits on glass at the airport.

A Hopkins spokesperson tells 19 Action News they have spent a substantial amount of money on netting last summer to keep from birds from roosting. They are now going to put additional nets in place.

Also, now that it is spring, the airport can resume power washing.

They are also looking into updating the facade - to make it smooth and make it more difficult for the birds to roost.
