NORTH COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) -
A trial date is set for one of the six teenagers accused of beating a North College Hill man.
In total, six boys are charged with assaulting Pat Mahaney, 45, on Aug. 11, 2012
because they were "bored and looking for something to do."
On March 22, two of the suspects involved in the beating plead guilty. As part of a plea deal, both teens admitted to the felonious assault
charges in exchange for the prosecutor to drop the aggravated riot
charge. The plea deal also withdraws the serious youth offenders statute
from their record. Three other teens plead guilty earlier in March.
A trial for the sixth teenager will begin on June 24th.
