A Mississippi man passed away over the weekend, but that's OK, according to his obituary, because he is now with Dale Eanrhardt in heaven.
The obit, published on Tuesday in the Northeast Mississippi Journal, tells the story of 54-year-old Timothy Hopkins.
Hopkins was a homebuilder by trade, according to the obit.
He died from cancer and wanted his remains sent to a research center in Tennessee to help in the fight to find a cure, according to the obit.
"There will be no funeral as Tim's remains were donated to the University of Tennessee Cancer Research Facility in hope that because of his generous donation, a cure for the cancer that took his life might save someone else. A memorial service will take place in honor of him at a later date."
