ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

For Albany bodybuilder Emily Ingram, being called a professional is still new to her.

"I was at the store yesterday, and a woman asked, me 'Wow, you look so great. How do you look like that?'" she says. "It was really fun to say I'm a professional bodybuilder. It's sinking in a little bit better now."

Ingram is fresh off winning the Women's Heavyweight Class and Women's Overall Championships at last weekend's 2013 INBF Iron Eagle Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Classic in Savannah.

The win earned Ingram her pro card, and she will begin competing in professional competitions.

She says she's proud of accomplishing her goals. Now she's ready to reach higher.

"The next step obviously is doing well on a pro stage," Ingram says. "The pro stage is a lot different than the amateur stage. Everybody you're up against looks amazing, so I'll be up against some really hard competition."

Her pro debut is just 8 weeks away in Massachusetts.
