Workers tied up during Bob Evans robbery

Police are searching for two suspects after a Bob Evans was robbed late Tuesday night.

Police say the two armed suspects entered the Bob Evans restaurant located at 5245 North Bend Road in Monfort Heights around 10:45 p.m. One man was carrying a shotgun and the other had a handgun.

Employees told police they were tied up by the suspects and placed on the kitchen floor. The suspects were able to flee the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and a computer tower from the office. No one was injured during the incident. Investigators believe the suspects got into the closed restaurant while an employee took out the trash.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 6 foot, slightly overweight and was wearing a black suit with a purple tie. The second suspect is descried as a black male, very thin and wearing a white hoodie with a blue bandana covering his face, tan jeans with a studded belt and tan work boots.
