A late night wreck that knocked down a utility pole has Highway 69 partially blocked in Jacksonville.
According to authorities, the accident happened around 11 p.m., when a vehicle ran into a utility pole, knocking the pole and wires into the roadway on Highway 69 (N. Jackson Street) near Quevado Street.
Crews on the scene have had lanes blocked all morning between Quevado Street and Jeanine Street. They are diverting traffic off to Bolton Street until the repairs are finished.
Motorists traveling in the area should use extreme caution.
