BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

KSLA News 12 cameras took an exclusive look inside of Margaritaville Resort Casino.

The casino is set to open in June, and developers say they are putting the finishing touches on the resort.

The casino is one level, and spreads 30,000 square feet. There will be around 1,300 slot machines and 54 table games once it is open.

According to the Louisiana gaming regulations all casinos must be on water, and Margaritaville is following those guidelines according to developers. The casino is on a barge floating on 2 feet of water. There will also be a captain staying on the vessel at all times.

There are more than 400 hotel rooms being built, with King Suites on the South side of the building and Queen Suites on the North side.

Developers say the casino is set to open on time.
