Police search for missing Dayton man

DAYTON, OH (FOX19) -

Police need your help finding a missing Dayton, Ohio man.

Russell Franklin, 83, was last seen on Friday morning at his residence on Walton Avenue. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray and orange New balance shoes, a black winter hooded coat and a black felt cap.

Russell suffers from dementia and is in need of his medication.

Police say that Russell has wandered before and was located in the Residence Park area.

An endangered missing adult alert has been issued in Montgomery, Darke, Preble, Butler, Warren, Greene, Clark and Miami counties.

Anyone with information on Russell's whereabouts is asked to contact the Dayton police Department at 937-333-1070 or dial 911.
