Burglar writes apology letter and returns money...30 years later

Good afternoon! How's your day going?

Ours is going well, as we're busy working on stories for you in the newsroom and all around East Texas. Here's a sample:

On East Texas News at 4, we have a whole show full of stories and videos that you won't see anywhere else. For example, a self-proclaimed thief is trying to make amends, 30 years after he robbed a store of $800. Check that story out at 4.

At 5, there are murmurings that Gov. Rick Perry is pondering another run for the White House. Will he be on the ticket in 2016? We'll discuss it at 5.

And then at 6, a 21-year-old man who admitted to police that he had been molesting boys and girls behind a mobile home park in Tyler was sentenced today in court. We'll tell you what the outcome was tonight.

Also, good news for Lindale and surrounding communities; Fed Ex has announced plans to build a new distribution center in the industrial park south of I-20. More on that at 6.

And make sure to join Chief Meteorologist Mark Scirto at 4, 5 and 6 as he shares your best local weather forecast, as well as his two "big weather stories" during East Texas News at 4. They're always really interesting!

Only on the web: we've created a list for you of East Texas farmers markets, including their opening dates and locations. Check it out; some of the markets open later this month!

Here's the link to the livestream on KLTV.com. Join us live online at 4, 5 and 6!

We'll see you soon!
