Don't be alarmed... It's only a drill at ETX Regional Airport

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

If you're catching a flight at East Texas Regional Airport in Gregg County on Wednesday, don't be surprised to see a lot of activity from first responders. Local, state and federal groups will be on-site performing a required exercise.

Airport officials expect the drill to last until approximately 3p.m.

The airport has to perform the emergency exercise every three years as a part of Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
