Stylin' for Spring: ETX boutique gives a look at spring fashion

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Wednesday marks the first day of spring, and it could very well be the day we transfer our winter clothes out of the closet, and move on in the new, fun spring clothes.

Scarves, hats, and necklaces-- the accessories that will dress up this spring.

"We're already seeing people coming in and asking for spring clothes, I know I'm already wearing them," says Reaghan Beasley with Apricot Lane, a Tyler clothing boutique.

Beasley says bright is a good word to sum up spring colors.

"There's a lot of bright colors and you can play with everything and mix match stuff and you get to wear shorts and skirts instead of jeans and boots all of the time," says Beasley.

Beasley wore a mint colored shirt for the interview, a color, she says, you can expect to see it everywhere.

"The neons and pastels are very popular. Lace, crochet, ruffles, floral prints anything really feminine and flirty will be really popular this season," said Beasley.

"Black and whites will be really popular this season, like anything really bold, especially chevron prints. We've been seeing that everywhere, it's really popular, we cannot keep it in the store," says Beasley.

When Apricot Lane shops for their store, they try to keep the styles fitting for local shoppers.

"We've noticed Tyler is a little more conservative and so a lot of styles that we see, like, in California don't really mesh very well here," says Beasley.

Apricot Lane is heading up to Dallas on Friday to the Dallas Market Center to pick out more styles for spring, as well as summer and fall.

They said they have their eye on statement necklaces, mint clothes, and clothes with the chevron pattern.
