Surveillance video released in Dollar General robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tyler police are investigating the aggravated robbery of a Dollar General Tuesday night.

According to Tyler police, officers were called to the Dollar General on West Gentry Parkway in Tyler around 10:00 pm.

The store clerk reported a black male in his 50's, wearing a mesh-type material over his face entered the store with a handgun. The man threatened the clerk, took an undisclosed amount of money and ran. 

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Tyler police say the man was last seen wearing a black colored hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information about this about this robbery is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
