Good Tuesday afternoon, everyone.

Here's some of what we're working on for you in the newsroom today:

Today on East Texas News at 4, we have a vast array of fun and informative videos, as well as some more serious stories, such as the state of Washington rejecting an artist's 9/11 memorial. We'll tell you why, and also will let you know about a memorial for the Florida man who was killed in his own home when a sinkhole swallowed him alive.

And at 6,Smith County Commissioners Court approved the petition signatures for alcohol sales, meaning that now, folks in precinct 1 will be allowed to vote on alcohol sales in their area in November. Also, a great update on Chapel Hill football player Dorian Timmons. There's been some improvement in his condition, though he is still hospitalized. More on that at 6.
