John Tyler High School Gets Facelift

Dozens of local high school students spent Thursday making their school beautiful before they go back to school.

They gave "Lion Country" a facelift. It was all part of John Tyler's campus beautification project: planting flowers, cleaning up campus grounds, and painting benches.

The idea began at a summit in June, involving the students and their new principal, Michael McFarland.

School starts back again next Wednesday.
